Clubhouse Dress Standards
In general, dress in the clubhouse must be clean, presentable, smart and inoffensive. Jeans may be worn as long as they have no rips or tears
Specifically the following are considered unsuitable –
- Footwear worn on the course shall not be worn in the clubhouse
- Vest tops
- Clothing bearing other sports’ team names or logos
- Unauthorised working overalls, or soiled/damaged workwear
- Tracksuits, shell suits or ski wear
- All forms of headgear.
(Exceptions are :- at a private Function or party, an otherwise appropriate gathering, or on religious or health grounds)
The staff have been delegated to ensure that the standards are complied with
Course Dress Standards
All golfers are expected to wear –
- Clothing that is clean, presentable, smart and inoffensive
- Collared or polo/roll neck shirts
- Trousers or tailored shorts
- Golf shoes The following are unsuitable and not permitted when playing
- Tracksuits, shell suits or ski-wear
- Clothing bearing other sports’ team names or logos
- Other sports shorts or beachwear
- Sleeveless tops (except ladies)
- Working overalls, or soiled/damaged workwear
